Eileen and I spent two weeks in the Alsace of France. What a peaceful kind of place it is. The legendary vineyards (wine making is a practice here since Roman times) were beautiful as the sun danced on them like a giant game of Twister. The villages seem like they haven't changed for centuries. The food and wine is as wonderful as you would expect of France. And the photography was fun. Here are 48 images from the two weeks: a dozen photos of the vineyards and a dozen of the many villages we visited. Then two dozen of flowers and churches and other things that caught my eye.
